Last Friday evening a *small* group of Twitter friends got together for #TacoTweetup at La Mexicana. New friendships were made and some old ones reunited over delicious mojitos and Mexican food.
It was the first time James and I co-hosted a “social” event and we couldn’t be more happy with the turnout. The capacity we initially had was for 30 attendees, giving us an idea of how many people to expect. More than 40 amazing personalities came out and enjoyed their evening with us!
Now, I don’t want to bore you with analytics (I am a social media manager after all) but I did find some amazing statistics of the hashtag that was used throughout the last week, #TacoTweetup. Here is a brief:
We hope everyone had a fantastic time. I’ve already got some people asking about the next one, so I better start planning!
Special thanks to La Mexicana; we couldn’t have done it without the help of Evelyn, Viktor, Denise, and the rest of the staff. We’d also like to thank Patron Tequila, Dos Equis, and Select Wines Ontariofor giveaways/prizes and Hailo Toronto for providing a safe way to get our attendees home.
